NA CONTACT Joseph Czerwinski, Electronics Engineer, (732)427-6495. This is a market survey to locate additional sources for repair services for the FBCB2 computer system. The original system integrator is TRW Inc., DBA TRW Systems, 1800 Glenn Curtiss Drive, C arson CA. 90746-2800. Four system peripheral devices comprise the system and are currently manufacturered by Paravant Inc., 3520 U.S. Hwy 1, Palm Bay, FL. 32905 and Level-3 Communications Corp. Division, Ruggedized Command and Control Solutions RCCS, 10 770 Wateridge Circle, San Diego, CA 92121-5701. The prime contractor's,TRW, part numbers for the FBCB2 system components to be repaired are as follows; Processor Units, 881291-1, 881291-3, 881291-4, 881292-1, 881292-1, 881292-2, 881292-3, Display Units; 8 81293-1, 881293-2, 881294-1, 881294-2, 881299-1, 881299-2, Keyboard Units; 881295-1, 881295-2, 881295-3, 881295-4, 881295-5, 881298-1, 881298-2, Hard Disk Drive Cartridges; 881297-1, 881297-2, 881297-3, 881296-1. Required repairs will include all aspects o f operational, functional and cosmetic repair/refurbishment of all system components. In addition, a contractor designed Repair Certification program is required which will facilitate depot government repair technicians to become technically skilled and qu alified to repair the FBCB2 system. The government is also seeking to procure quantities of the internal repair parts and components used in the repair process of the FBCB2 system. Detailed technical data(drawings and schematics) used for the manufacture o r acceptance of these items is not available from the Army. Suppliers/offerors capable of furnishing/repairing these items must so indicate by writing to; Commander CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-C-TC(Czerwinski), Fort Monmouth, N.J. 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copies of purchase orders, if the supplier was a vendor to the current source or a statement from the current source demonstrating that the supplier can supply items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable at the repair part level with the items that the current sources supply for these items. Responses in terms of the repair service must include documentation that demonstrates that the offeror can, in fact provide repair Capability and has the required data, software, equipment and facilities to perform the repair. Successful supplier(s)/repairer(s) may be required to warrant that the items supplied and/or repaired will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
