Description
NA The Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W), on behalf of the Secretary of Defense (OUSD-PR) has a requirement for the execution of the academic initiatives to support the DOD's Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative and Strategic Plan for t raining transformation. The objectives of the research program are to develop learning modules that illustrate the reusability of learning content for multiple purposes, establish techniques that can automatically assemble the learning content into a stru ctured education or training program, and conduct workshops and symposia that offer this technology to other academic and Defense agencies. This includes the development of engaging learning content in a military context, the automatic assembly of learnin g objects for different instructional purposes, and collaboration with academic partners from institutions nation-wide. All content and products developed must conform to the Sharable Content Objective Reference Model (SCORM). Building upon the state fun ded program being pursued at the on-site ADL Co-Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin, the DCC-W intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with the University of Wisconsin pursuant to a Memorandum Of Agreement with the DOD ADL Co-Laboratory. Potential so urces must demonstrate their familiarity with the ADL and SCORM, describe experience with similar projects and objectives, and provide personal vita of talent available for this project. Qualification Statements must be received NLT 30 May 2003 at FAX 70 3-693-5713, or at email austin.sansone@hqda.army.mil. Reference Number is DASW01-03-R-0043. POC is Austin J. Sansone.
