- NA Provide cellular phone service (and cellular phones when necessary) consisting of the following: phone air time, long distance, and roaming for four calling plans as required for all Pope Air Force Base Activities and Army Components within a 60 mile radiu s of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. A firm fixed price requirement type contract is anticipated. The period of performance will be 01 October 2003 through 30 September 2004 with two option year periods. For determining business size on this project, the app licable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517212 / 1,500 employees. It is the Government?s intent to issue the solicitation and amendments (if any) electronically via the Internet. Upon release to the public, entire solicitati on will be released solely on the Internet at http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-doc/Contractors/SOLICIT.HTM (paper copies will not be available). All prospective offerors are responsible for obtaining any amendments, the solicitation or any other information from the Fort Bragg Directorate of Contracting (D.O.C.) website. It is therefore the Contractor?s responsibility to check the D.O.C. website frequently/daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors wishing to do business with the Governme nt must be registered in the CCR for any awards resulting from solicitations issued after 01 January 1998 or the contractor will not be eligible for award. The requirement applies to all solicitations and awards, regardless of the media: paper, oral, fax, electronic, etc. Contractors may register in the CCR through the world wide web at http://www.ccr.gov/ or 888-227-2423. This requirement is available for full and open competition.
