- Description
- AIRCRAFT TRAINING SERVICES, L-39. The 412 Test Wing at Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for contractor provided aircraft training services for a 6 month period of performance plus one option period of 6 months, total contract period not to exceed 12 months. Minimum aircraft flying hours are 100 for the initial 6 month period. The contractor shall provide an Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatross aircraft for training services to include all equipment, personnel, supplies and maintenance to support sortie generation requirements of the 412 Test Wing. The contractor shall provide Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certifications in maintenance and manpower required to accomplish a turnkey operation with minimum/no U.S. Government support. The contractor shall provide initial qualification training for staff instructor pilots and follow on training as required. The contractor shall develop and maintain a training and lesson plan approved by 412 Test Wing. The anticipated contract type is fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This acquisition is being set-aside 100% for small business. To be eligible for award an offeror MUST BE registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database pursuant to Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Subpart 204.73. Registration can be done at http://www.ccr.gov/index.cfm or http://www.dlis.dla.mil.ccr. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released on or about 29 Apr 03.
