- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Mobile (Counties: Mobile, Baldwin, Bay Minette), Alabama area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center (CCC), August 2000 ( Amended May 2002). A requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices with a two-year base period and three (3) one-year options period is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 82% male and 18% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 27,010 (males) and 5,840 (females) for the base period; 13,505 (males) and 2,920 (females) for option year one; 13,542 (males) and 2,928 (females) for option year two; and 13,505 (males) and 2,920 (females) for option year three; respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about May 19, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is July 17, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
