Description

The United States Secret Service intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract under provisions of FAR 6.302-1 to George Washington University, Graduate Education Center, 3601Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201. The United States Secret Service has a requirement for educational and training services in high tech crimes investigation that are designated by the National Security Agency (NSA) in its Centers of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education. George Washington University provides the curriculum and NSA accreditation through its graduate Certificate Programs. This notice is neither a request for quotations nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Only written responses sent via electronic mail will be accepted. The responses must be received within three (3) calendar days of the date of this notice. The Government anticipates award on or about May 9, 2003. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
