- Description
- The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with George Washington University (GWU) to contract for GWU?s Computer Security and Information Assurance Certificate, Distance Learning Option, which consists of four (4) courses: Introduction to Computer Security; Information Policy; Viruses, Worms and Network Security; and Information Warfare. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Any inquiries must include a full capability statement, and must be received no later than 5 days after publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement. See FedBizOpps Note 22 - 45 days is changed to read 5 days.
