Description
NA The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a competitive 8(a) requirement for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for work in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Competition for this procuremen t is limited to eligible 8(a) firms located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana, and 8(a) participants in good standing serviced by a SBA office outside of these states, but having a bona fide branch office in these states. A bona fide branch office is a place of business for purposes of 8(a) construction procurements located where an 8(a) participant regularly maintains an office which employs at least one full-time individual within the appropriate geographical boundary. The term does not include construction trailers or other temporary construction sites. The MATOC will consist of three 8(a) construction contractors. The contracts will be for quick and straightforward military and civil projects, including some small but complex construction. T ask orders will include a variety of trades such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, interior/exterior elements, steam welding, asbestos and lead paint abatement incidental to construction and/or project design. The MATOC will not be used for architect-engineer (AE) services. However, incidental AE services may be needed for some projects. The MATOC will include a base period not-to-exceed one year with the potential for two option periods not-to-exceed one year each. The total contract peri od is not-to-exceed three years. Individual task orders will range from $100,000 to $6,000,000, with a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000,000 per year (or period) shared among the three contractors. Total not-to-exceed amount to be shared among the three co ntracts for base year and all option periods is $45,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 12 May 2003, with proposals due on or about 13 June 2003. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS), and will be ava ilable to download on or about 12 May 2003 at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct. NO CD's OR HARD COPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The website is occasionally inaccessib le due to maintenance. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28.5 million.
