- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex proposes to contract for lodging for Norfolk Naval Shipyard personnel working at North Island Naval Air Station, San Diego, CA. An Indefinite Delivery/Requirements Type Contract for a Base Year with one (1) ? (1) Year Option is anticipated. The estimated room day requirement for the Base Year is 2,300 with 3,855 estimated for the Option Year. The location of the lodging facility to the North Island Naval Air Station shall not exceed 5 miles one way using the main vehicular routes traveled to the North Island Naval Air Station. The minimum size of each room is 400 square feet. Services are for the period of 14 September 2003 through 13 September 2004 for the Base Year with one (1) ? one (1) Year Option. Note: Offerors proposing as a broker for Hotel/Motel lodging shall submit with their proposal, a copy of the written agreement authorizing the prime/subcontracting arrangement with the Hotel/Motel for services. This requirement is being handled utilizing ?Simplified Acquisition Procedures? as set forth in FAR Part 13 and authorized in FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Products. Response date for submission of quotations will be established in the solicitation. Requests for solicitation packages will be accepted via mail and e-mail only. All requests shall include, as a minimum, the complete mailing address, telephone number, fax number and point of contact.
