- The principal features of the work include: 1) Furnishing slide gate replacement seats; 2) Furnishing and installing bulkhead gate for spillway outlet works; 3) Unwatering river outlet works and three spillway outlet works tunnels; 4) Disassembling high pressure gates of the unwatered tunnels; 5) Repairing hole in valve bonnet cover, examining other bonnet covers and repairing any defects; 6) Replacing piston rings and packing of hoist cylinders and valve bonnet covers; 7) Performing balanced head and unbalanced head testing on rehabilitated high pressure gates; 8) Handling and disposing of paint containing heavy metals from tunnels, interiors of high pressure gates, valve bonnet covers, and hoist cylinders; 9) Applying linings and coatings for outlet works tunnels and gates.
