- NA The contractor shall develop a tank liner and expulsion system design for integration with the AMRDEC NLOS-LS composite tank concept. The contractor shall provide the necessary materials and detail parts. The contractor shall be responsible for design an d fabrication of the piston head assemblies, center guide tube / porting assemblies and thin metal case structure which serves primarliy as a liquid permaeation barrier. The contractor shall assemble the piston tank liner sub-assemblies and perform end it em inspection to ensure build integrity. Two assemblies shall be provided to AMRDEC for composite overwrap and cure. Each tank assembly contains separate oxidizer and fuel chambers in a tandem configuration. No government furnished equipment. Two prototype liner/expulsion system asseblies shall be delivered to the Government for integration, test, and demonstration of NLOS-LS capabilities.
