Description
NA The US Army MTMC-AQ is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential sources that currently possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience necessary to meet the DoD?s requirement of a commercial off the shelf (COTS) Personal Property Management Inf ormation System. Interested parties should provide information indicating their capability of administering a full service web-based Personal Property Information Management System that will support over 500,000 shipments annually. The system must include a tool for end-to-end management of all types of DoD house hold goods for both domestic and international shipments (to include storage), generation of timely and accurate shipment records/reports, data retention capabilities, support of submission of cla ims forms to transportation providers settlement by allowing DOD members to directly resolve claims with transportation service providers via the web, shipment records are accessible by transportation providers and DOD traffic managers, integrate a governm ent web-based counseling module, provide a web-based training capability for the system, shipment costing engine capability, automated pre-payment audit capability, provide capability for traffic distribution based on performance and cost, web-based custom er satisfaction tool, interface with U.S.Bank?s PowerTrack system, ability to receive and provide EDI and/or XML data transfers to transportation service providers, ability to provide performance metrics and management reports, and ability to accept elect ronic versions of orders of DOD members. Companies may provide any additional information as deemed necessary which could even include a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) to best illustrate their capabilities in performing the work. Any other specific and per tinent information as pertains to this particular area that would enhance our consideration and evaluation of the information submitted. This is a sources sought notice for planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Re quest for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this survey. The extent of small business participation to this requirement has not yet been determined. Therefore, participation in this survey may not necessarily result in your company being able to participate in the solicitation. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. Joint ventures or teaming ar rangements may be advantageous. Subsequent briefings/demos may be scheduled based upon the evalution of the responses received. All capabilities statements are due to Carolyn Knight prior to 3:00 p.m. on 29 April 2003.
