- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The reference number is FM4488309300200 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-13. (iv) This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 421690, and the small business size standard is 100 employees. (v) This requirement consists of one line item. (vi) Line Item 0001: Goggles, Night Vision, Gen III PVS-7D, Quantity: 12; Includes: NV Goggle Kit, PN AV/PVS7D; Mental helmet mount, PN A3256368; Compass, PN A3187430; IR spot lens, PN A3144318; LIF, PN A3144281; Headstrap, PN A3144268; Obj lens caps, PN A3144318; Hard case, PN A3264350; Demist shields, PN A3144263; Sacrif lens, PN A3144264; AA batteries, 2 each; Lens cleaning kit, PN 2A1666-100; Soft carry case, PN A3187392; Operating manual, PN D205689-067. Manufacturer: ITT Industries, or equal. FOB shall be destination, and shipping should be included in the unit price. (xi) The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation. A copy of the provision may be attained from http://farsite.hill.af.mil. (xii) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (o) is changed to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial warranties to the government (xiii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiv) Award can only be made to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration web page, http://www.ccr.gov.
