- Potential Sources Sought for firms interested in submitting a proposal for an upcoming Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Cobb County, Marietta, Georgia. The base is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Atlanta, GA. This acquisition will be conducted under full and open competition in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This contract will include a broad variety of individual construction tasks orders to include, but not limited to alteration, maintenance, repair and minor construction of various base facilities. During the contract period, the Base Civil Engineer (BCE) will identify construction tasks required to complete each specific job, and Operational Contracting will negotiate and issue individual delivery orders. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to manage and accomplish the project. An office will be provided on base for the contractor. Individual projects will vary in size and complexity. The jobs will include tasks in a variety of trades, including carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavating, interior electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, and welding. The government anticipates significant subcontracting under the SABER contract. The guaranteed contract minimum is $50,000 for the life of the contract (including options), and the maximum is $2,000,000 per contract period. NAICS code for this project is 236320. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.101-1, Tradeoff Process. Past Performance is more significant than price for this solicitation.
