Description

The purpose of this project is to replace all existing electrical wiring from each housing unit meter location throughout housing unit interior to all lighting fixtures, equipment, appliances, wiring devices, etc., with new electrical wiring system for an estimated 150 dwelling units. Including but not be limited to, providing new combination motion detectors on the front and back of each housing unit, new smoke detectors, new light fixtures and thoroughly upgrade each housing unit per the latest version of the National Electrical Code (2002). Project YWHG ?01-9408. This requisition for proposal will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The project magnitude is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Code (NAICS) is 238210 with a small business size standard of $12,000,000.00. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web page. Paper copies will not be made available. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. This synopsis must be posted 15 calendar days before the issuance of the solicitation. (Note: Please note this synopsis was originally posted at F23606-03-R-0002 and was subsequently cancelled.)
