- Description
- The Naval Engineering Division, Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific has a requirement for dockside repairs to USCGC MIDGETT (WHEC 726). THIS REQUIREMENT IS BEING CONDUCTED AS A HUBZONE SET-ASIDE. All responsible certified HUB-Zone sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. This negotiated procurement will be conducted using best value procedures. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about May 6, 2003. The repairs shall be performed at the cutter?s home berth in Seattle, WA. The availability period of performance is for forty-two (42) calendar days, starting 02 September 2003 through 14 October 2003. The work items include, but are not limited to: Providing Production Control GANTT Bar Chart; Temporary Services, Clean Grey Water holding tanks with partial preservation; Clean Sewage Holding Tank with partial preservation; Motor-Generator set shock-mounting; and Oily Water Separator Piping modification. The solicitation will be negotiated. Attention: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's), The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
