- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, United States Border Patrol El Paso Flight Operations is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation EFO-3-Q-0024 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items along with the firm's DUNS number. A single award will be made. Part Number 369A1613-507 Tail Rotor Blades: CLIN 0001 Inspection and provide report of repairs required. $ ________ ea; CIN 0002 Refinish and balance $________ ea; CLIN 0003 Replace abrasion strip $________ ea; CLIN 0004 Skin thickness test $________ ea; CLIN 0005 Replace bearings (2) $________ ea. Delivery is to be FOB destination to the U.S. Border Patrol Flight Operations, 9C Butterfield Trail, El Paso, TX 79906. This is a requirements type contract. Orders will be place by the issuance of a delivery order by a Contracting Officer located at the El Paso Flight Operations. The Government's best estimate is that there will be 37 blades to be repaired. FAR 52.211-9 Desired and Required Time of Delivery: (a) fill in "4 blades per week commencing when a delivery order is issued", (b) fill in "2 months after award of delivery order"; and in (c) provide delivery schedule:_____________________. The provisions at FAR 15.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 12.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria is as follows: Award will be made to the responsive, responsible Quoter with the lowest price.
