- This is a combined synopsis/solicittion for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-03-T-0159 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued as a small business set-a-side, NAICS code 811310, FSC code J061. The Trident Refit Facility, Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Ga requires services to restack lamination on the following items: 1 ea 70kw Generator Stator Iron, serial number 061TR28311, diameter 15", bore 21.475, length 9", slots 144, thickness 0.014"; 1 ea 70kw Excitor Stator Iron, serial number 061TR28311, diameter 25", bore 21.475", length 1", slots 28, thickness 0.014"; 1 ea 70kw Excitor Rotor Iron, serial number 061TR28311, diameter 21.375", bore 15", length 1.5", slots 84, thickness 0.0185"; 1 ea 70kw Generator Rotor Iron, serial number 061TR28311, diameter 21.375", bore 7", length 8.9375", slots 28, thickness 0.014"; 1 ea 70kw Armature Iron, serial number 061TR28311, diameter 13.5", bore 6.65, length 13.5", slots 50, thickness 0.025"; the vendor will take measurements required from the item shipped as samples by disassembling, then manufacture, stack, weld and test the new core; clean and box the items for return shipment.
