Description

The Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12, as a Commercial Item Acquisition? to TecSolutions, Inc., 560 Plessinger Road, Warfordsburg, PA 17267, for the acquisition of Visual Powerfiles Software Maintenance and upgrades. The period of performance is for a base period of twelve (12) months with one (1) twelve-month option period. This acquisition shall include software upgrades and updates; telephone technical support to include trouble shooting, on site maintenance; for existing TechSolutions proprietary software residing on Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration database. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR Part 6.302-1. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 (NTE) $100,000.00. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submission of a proposal. Vendors signed proposals must include price, terms and conditions, point of contact (name, telephone number, e-mail address and fax number), Government contract or Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) number (if applicable), performance period, business size, payment terms, taxpayer identification number (TIN) and Dun and Bradstreet number. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received no later than 2:00p.m (EST), April 21, 2003, will be reviewed by the Government. All responses should reference number M3-M2-01-EO-A01. If no proposal is received that provides clear and convincing data in writing substantiating on ability to perform the entire requirement, shall be awarded be made to TechSolutions, Inc.
