- Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst New Jersey has a requirement for the following item in support of the Aircraft Landing and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program: Flush Deck Nose Gear Launch Assembly P/N-613714-9, manufacture I.A.W. NAWC Drawing 613714 Rev. AC and REI-0219009, quantity 1 each and Technical Data, 1 Lot; Flush Deck Nose Gear Launch P/N-613714-8, manufacture I.A.W. NAWC Drawing 613714 Rev. AC and REI-02-19009, and Technical Data, 1 Lot. The NGL assembly consists of the slide assembly, reset assembly, NGL housing, drain pan assembly, buffer and tensioner cylinder assembly, buffer cylinder tracks and the forward and aft slide-access tracks. The Buffer Cylinder, Shock Absorber, Directional Valves and other components require the use of specialized materials, process and forgings. First Article Test and or Production Lot testing requirements may be found in REI-02-19009, under the Quality Assurance provisions. Some items require shipment to Lakehurst for Government testing and approval. Other items will be tested at the Contractors facility under Government supervision. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government based on past performance and price. This procurement shall be solicited as full and open competition. All request for copies of the specifications must contain a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/ . The solicitation will be issued/posted on the NAVAIR Web Site on or after May 2, 2003.
