Description: NA The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for services including labor, equipment, and facilities required to repair two (2) sets of NI-AL bronze Controllable pitch propeller blades in accordance with the specifications attached to th e solicitation. Solicitation No. DACW29-03-T-0043 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is issued as unrestricted. The requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Items. Interested parties a re advised to make a preliminary inspection of the condition of the propeller blades prior to submitting a quote. The propeller blades are located at the GSA Warehouse, 400 Edwards Ave, Bay B-1, Harahan, LA 70123. Arrangements to inspect the propeller bl ades should be made at least three (3) days in advance by calling (504) 862-1669 or (504) 862-1150. All interested parties may request a complete solicitation package by fax (504) 862-2892, by e-mail to: Gerald.R.Sanderson@mvn02.usace.army.mil or electro nic downloading from the New Orleans District website at www.mvn.usace.army.mil/. Requests for this solicitation shall be in writing, stating the solicitation number, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number and fac simile number. No telephone requests will be accepted. Quotes are due on May 1, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at www.ccr2000.com. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency.
