- Description
- The Operational Contracting Division at Tinker Air Force Base, OK is soliciting proposals for FULL & OPEN COMPETITION to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform paramedic and ambulance services at Tinker AFB, OK. The Period of Performance will include an orientation period of 60 calendar days to accomplish required training as well as administrative tasks in order to work on Tinker AFB; one Base Year and four (4) one-year options. A best value Contractor will be selected using source selection procedures as outlined in FAR 12 and 15. CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRALIZED CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) SYSTEM IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A CONTRACT AWARD FROM ANY DOD ACTIVITY. Contractors may access the CCR at www.ccr.gov. The NAICS Code utilized for this solicitation is 621399. The SIC Code is 8049. Estimated solicitation issuance date is on or about 05 MAY 03. This list is coordinated to facilitate subcontracting opportunities only and will be released periodically to this solicitation. Based upon market research the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitaton for the described services. Interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 10 days of this notice. Interested persons may also contact the Contracting Officer to discuss any questions, comments or concerns regarding the contents of this synopsis.
