- Description
- The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center San Francisco is seeking sources that manufacture Wound VAC Machines, also known as Subatmospheric pressure feedback device. A subatmospheric pressure feedback device in promotion of wound healing. This includes patients who would benefit from vacuum assisted drainage and removal of infectious material or other fluids from wounds under the influence of continuous and/or intermittent subatmospheric pressure. Types of wounds for which VAC therapy has been indicated, includes chronic acute, traumatic, subacute, and dishisced wounds, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, flaps and grafts.
