- Description
- Furnish and install all necessary tools, materials, equipment, and supervision for Project #529-02-101, HVAC System, Ph. 5, at the VA Medical Center, 325 New Castle Rd., Butler, PA 16001 in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work includes but is not limited to: the demolition and removal of piping, ductwork, fan coils, convectors, air handling units, electrical, bulkhead enclosures, dumbwaiter shaft and asbestos abatement. New work includes fan coil units, convectors, reheat coils, VAV boxes, exhaust fans, air handling units, modifications to an existing air handling unit, electrical and associated piping, ductwork and other appurtenances. Provide construction of new mechanical shafts or modifications of existing mechanical shafts on multiple floors of Building No. 1. Fan coil units, convectors and reheat coils are located on multiple floors of Building No. 1. VAV boxes are located on Floor 5, Building No. 1.=20 Exhaust fans are located on the Basement Floor and the Cupola above the Penthouse, Building No. 1. Air handling units are located in the Penthouse of Building No. 1, on grade outside Floor 1 on northern face of Building No. 1 and in the attic space above the Auditorium of Building No. 1. Provide ventilation air for offices and workspaces on multiple floors of Building No. 1. Included with all work is removal and reinstallation of new mechanical systems. A limited number of solicitation documents are available from the issuing office on a first-come first-serve basis, for a non-refundable charge of $85.00 per set in the form of a cashier=92s check, certified check, or money order made payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
