- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to furnish and install all materials, equipment, and labor required to remove existing metal culverts and install new fish passage structures. Work includes excavation, clearing and grubbing, backfilling, regrading streams, ripraping, weir installation, compaction, construction of outlet pool and outlet control structures, and creating natural stream structures within the culvert and streambed on the Prince of Wales Island road system. All the project sites are located on the Prince of Wales Island road system. The island has several full service communities and is accessible by the Alaska Marine Highway, Inter-Island Ferry Authority, aircraft or private boat. Prince of Wales is approximately 100 km northwest of Ketchikan, Alaska. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The performance period is 730 days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about May 2, 2003 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation R10-05-03-31. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select "Register to Receive Notification" and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select "Register as an Interested Vendor" and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting "View List of Interested Vendors" for each project.
