- Description
- The Broadcasting Broad of Governors (BBG) International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB) has a requirement for lawn mowing services at the Greenville Transmitting Station (GTS) Site A and Site B. This contract will be a Small Business Set Aside, Firm-Fixed Price Service contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition for this procurement is 561730 entitled "Landscaping Services" ($6 million). The period of performance (subject to the availability of FY-2004 funding) will be from 03/01/2004 through 11/14/2004 with the potential of three option periods during the following three years. GTS is an active high frequency transmission site and work shall be performed without interfering with its broadcast schedule. Offerors shall conduct a mandatory inspection of the facilities before submitting proposals during the dates identified in the upcoming RFP. It is anticipated that the RFP will be available on May 19, 2003. Offerors that exceed the Simplified Acquisition threshold for base year and all option years will not be considered as responsive to this RFP. Qualified offerors may request a copy of the forthcoming solicitation by submitting a written request to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Cynthia Sugg, via facsimile at (252) 752-5959. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 36.211, the Contracting Officer has determined that the distribution of this solicitation will be limited to Offerors located within a one-hundred (100) mile radius of the Greenville, NC Transmitting Station. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the forthcoming solicitation document, and all proposals shall be considered by the Agency. This notice is not a RFQ, RFP, or IFB.
