- Description
- The USAID Regional Contracting Office in Budapest, Hungary intends to issue a draft of Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit comments and suggestions before issuing the final RFP for Albania Integrated Primary Health Care program. The DRAFT of the solicitation will be issued immediately and deadline for written comments or suggestions in response to DRAFT of the RFP is May 2, 2003. The final RFP is expected to be issued by mid of May 2003. Through a full and open competion one cost-reimbursement type of contract will be awarded to implement an Integrated Primary Health Care program in Albania. This contract will focus on health care policy and reform issues as well as the delivery of comprehensive primary health care services, including family planning, STIs, TB, and HIV/AIDS. The period of performance will be 3 years with an option for two additional years. The total estimated cost for the activity is approximately $7 million covering initial 3 years program and at approximately $2.5 to $3 million per year for the option period, subject to funds availability. Your comments and suggestions will be appreciated and considered as we finalize the RFP for the proposed contract. Comments may or may not be incorporated in the Statement of Work.
