Description
The Social Security Administration (SSA) seeks firms able to provide an integrated solution for digital audio recording for SSA's Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) at locations throughout the continental US, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The equipment and software would replace existing analog recording equipment at OHA sites. SSA anticipates a requirement that will include both hardware and software with associated support services, including maintenance and training for a base year + four additional years. The requirement would include installing over the contract term 1,470 systems in approximately 150 OHA field offices and 180 OHA permanent remote sites, and providing mobile systems for approximately 270 temporary OHA remote sites. See the attached draft statement of work for more detail concerning the requirement. SSA will not respond to requests for solicitation copies and will not pay for information received in response to this announcement. Responses must outline how your firm would provide an integrated digital audio recording solution both as a technical solution and as a business proposal. Your response should include the following: 1) technical and business (e.g., teaming arrangements, etc.) information concerning your ability to provide an integrated solution (hardware, software and associated services) and 2) an itemized breakdown of estimated unit pricing for the requirement including hardware and software costs, training, help desk, travel, installation and maintenance costs. SSA wants estimated pricing information strictly for planning purposes--you will not be bound in any way to any estimates you provide nor will your estimates be made public. If you are able to provide an integrated solution under a GSA federal supply schedule or other contractual vehicle available for use by SSA, please provide detail on how you would provide the equipment, software and services under an existing contract that SSA could access.
