Description
1.1. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform the lighting design services of a USAF Band musical. This musical will be of the Broadway approach, approximately two (2) hours in length and will tell the story of 100 years of flight, comprised of approximately thirteen (13) short scenes set in different times and places, with a total cast of 50. The cast and musicians will be USAF Band personnel. The show will include two phases (the live performance and filming on location for DVD release), and will be performed at a theater located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. 1.2. Lighting Design Services: The contractor shall provide a complete computer generated light plot with all supporting paperwork (i.e. instrument schedule, hook-up sheet, etc.) and provide a hard copy to include a disk medium to the Government. The plot will utilize USAF fixtures and government rented equipment. The plot shall be an original design based on a set design submitted by the Scenic Design Services and approved by the USAF Band Producer. The contractor will initiate design approach after initial production meeting, but will submit a final light plot, based on the final scenic design approval. The contractor shall be on site for the duration of production and filming and provide all services associated with lighting design in accordance with standard commercial practices.
