- Description
- This contract?s purpose is to provide wildlife control to eliminate or mitigate risk from wildlife at Travis AFB yielding a safe operating environment for air operations on the airfield/aerodrome. This complex program combines several different measures to reduce the attraction of birds to the airfield and seeks to deny the use of airspace in the vicinity of the airfield to birds. These measures include but are not limited to falconry, harassment, trapping, relocation, depredation, egg treatment, airfield/aerodrome patrol, and perimeter fence monitoring. Except for items, services, equipment, and facilities identified as government-furnished, the contractor shall provide everything necessary to perform services required by this Statement of Work (SOW). Period of Performance is a base year and four (4) option years. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The solicitation package will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) on or about 21 May 03 and will close on or about 27 Jun 03. EPS can be accessed at http://www.eps.gov . THE AFOREMENTIONED DATES ARE ONLY ESTIMATES AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. The specific closing date will be stated in the solicitation package. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email request for the solicitation package will not be honored. POTENTIAL OFFERORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THE EPS WEBSITE FOR THE RELEASE OF THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE, AMENDMENTS AND ANY OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION.
