- Description
- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is planning to negotiate a sole source contract with Orthopedic Systems Inc. for one Jackson Modular Lumbar Spinal Surgery Table System for the Madison VA Medical Center, Madison, WI. This is considered to be sole source because it is the only complete system for Neurological/Orthopedic cases which: reduces patient blood loss by using hip supports and a stomach opening; improves the alignment of the patient=92s spine; and has a radiolucent top so that x-rays can be taken without moving the patient off the table. Other sources that believe they can meet VA needs must furnish product information and references to this office no later than 12:00 PM on April 24, 2003. Information may be mailed or it may be faxed to: 414-902-5440. Contract type is firm-fixed price. Anticipated award effective date is April 28, 2003.
