- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Business Center (NBC)= , Long Beach, CA is soliciting for the services of a Registered Nurse to provide oversight services in the Operating Room at the Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) on an as needed basis. The resulting Contract will be effective from the period starting May 27, 2003 and will be effective for approximately 6 months. The RN shall be licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia and shall posses: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master=92s Degree in Nursing or related field, a minimum of 5 years as a nurse providing oversight services in a major inpatient perioperative setting, proven problem identification and change implementation experience, Previous experience with medical teaching programs, and documented experience in assessing and successfully changing practice in a perioperative area.=20 This procurement is being conducted under the FAR Subpart 13.5 test program. Simplified acquisition procedures apply. Procurement will be conducted utilizing a combination of Parts 12, 13, and 15 of the FAR.=20 Qualified contractors wishing to receive copies of this solicitation must submit their requests in writing and are to be submitted to the attention of the Contracting Officer at the VA Network Business Center, 5901 East Seventh Street, Long Beach, CA 90822 or faxed to (562) 961-8067.
