- Description
- The Department of State (DOS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to current contract holder Cintron Safe & Lock Co., 7325 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22306 to provide for the continuation of various State Department locks and lock hardware requirements (both domestic and overseas use) over a period of six months. Total dollar value not to exceed $500,000.00. This is a bridge contract to cover a six-month period (May 7, 2003 through October 7, 2003) between expiring 8A award (current contract S-OPRAQ-98-D-0073 to Cintron) and new 8A small business set-aside contract (solicitation to be posted shortly). The purpose for this action is to provide continuity of services for the Department during this interim period. Copies of the sole source will not be available.
