- The National Epidemiology Program, Indian Health Service, Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking interested American Indian and Alaska Native professionals for a position as a Tobacco Control Specialist or Public Health Educator. Interested individuals shall possess a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Public Health or Health Sciences with at least one (1) year of work experience in a public health profession preferred. This is a sources sought announcement in order to identify possible sources for a proposed solicitation to be initiated by the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Position shall be physically located in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a period of up to five (5) years and shall encompass the duties of planning, implementing, evaluating and maintaining programs aimed at developing core capacities for tobacco use control and prevention in American Indian/Alaska Native tribes and communities on a national level. All interested American Indian and Alaska Native professionals who meet the identified educational requirements and experience are requested to submit their qualification statements to Diego G.
