- Description
- It is the Government?s intent to issue a Firm Fixed Price requirement for NSN:8475-01-316-1887(s). Item: Socks, Anti-Exposure, CWU 75/P (62/P CVLS) in accordance with MIL-S-29566 dated 19 October 1990 and Notice 1 dated 7/16/1997. This solicitation will be issued as a Total Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. It will include a Base Year and Three Option Years. Base year minimum quantity is 5162 ea. Base Year maximum quantity is 6500 ea. The minimum quantity for the three-years term options is 3000 ea. The maximum quantity for the three-years term options is 6500 ea. Two delivery destinations are required, New Cumberland, PA and San Joaquin, CA. All material will be contractor furnished. First Articles will be required. The First Articles shall consist of one (1) pair of socks for each size ordered and two (2) additional pairs of socks of any size. The solicitation will utilize Best Value Source Selection procedures. Offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal consisting of but not limited to Past Performance, Surge Capacity, and DLA Mentoring Business Agreement. Solicitation to be issued on or about May 2, 2003. Closing time for receipt of offers will be on or about June 2, 2003.
