Description

The Government intends to contract with Honeywell International(07187) for 96 each of 5963-01-193-4262, P/N 4032300-951. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Since it is anticipated that the terms and conditions of Honeywell?s BOA will be used, a formal RFP was not issued and will not be posted on the DSCC Bid Board System (DIBBS). However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal for the approved parts, McDonnell Douglas (02731) P/N 7-311F00004 and Honeywell International (07187) P/N 4032300-951, which will be considered and evaluated in accordance with the three clauses on page five of the solicitation. The letter RFP opens on April 8, 2003 and closes on May 8, 2003. The solicitation is for 96 each Multiplex Data Links, and includes a 100% quantity option (96 each). The FOB point and Inspection and Acceptance points are Origin. See Numbered Notes 12, 22, and 26
