- Amendment/Modification To This Notice as follows: "This is an unrestricted negotiated Procurement which will include Source Selection Procedures based on best value of Past Performance and Past Experience of technical criteria as well as price." NAICS Code 235990 Size Standard 12.0 million Provide all materials and labor to upgrade a single fire alarm system that will cover the entire facility (approximately 240,000 sq. ft.) The system shall be an intelligent, analog, addressable, fire alarm system and include new conduit and writing. The existing system shall be kept in service until the new system is in operation. The Fire Alarm System Upgrade is Project Number RTX 02087, Building Number TX0057ZZ. The building is occupied and shall remain occupied during the entire period of construction. Period of performance is 180 calendar days. The estimated cost range of project is $250,000 to $500,000.00. GSA is issuing this solicitation only electronically. This solicitation will issue on or about June 6, 2003. Notices of the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be posted on this web site at: www.fedbizopps.gov/ Access to the complete solicitation, specifications, drawings, and amendments to the solicitation will be made available only through a secured Extranet site. Interested parties shall send all request to access the restricted Internet site, for the complete licitation, to the attention of the POC as referenced below. This request should include the contractor’s company name, DUNS number, Tax ID#, mailing address, phone number, and email address. Additionally, the contractor must review, complete, and return the attached Document Security Notice (DSN), along with a copy of their business license (if available), to the POC. Upon receipt of the completed DSN, and acceptance of the firm’s request for access to the restricted site and the solicitation, two separate emails will be transmitted, to the email address provided, assigning the firm a User ID and password. These emails will provide instructions and requirements for entry into the secured Extranet site and access to the solicitation. This project is being procured on an unrestricted basis under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration. Therefore, all responsible firms are invited to participate. A bid guarantee will be required. Note: If you wish to be included on the Planholder’s list for this project, please forward your company name, address and fax number to the POC. Note: A pre-solicitation meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 23, 2003 and will be highly recommend for all interested Contractors to attend.
