Description
65 II C, Dental Equipment and Supplies Solicitation RFP-797-652C-99-0002 (POC) Carole O'Brien (708) 786-4957. Federal Supply Schedule FSC Group 65, Part II, Section C, Dental Equipment and Supplies, F.O.B. Destination within the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia and optional provisions for F.O.B. Destination to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and overseas locations. Fixed-price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contracts with Economic Price Adjustment provision. Multiple Awards, small business size standard of 500 applies. Total Small Business set-aside for Special Item Numbers (SINs) C-1 - Air Compressors and Dryers, C-6 - Light Curing Units, C-8 - Dental Vacuum Equipment and Accessories, and C-19 - Pins, Posts, Drills and Drivers. Solicitation RFP-797-652C-99-0002 is a "standing" solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on an open-and-continuous basis and will not contain a closing date for receipt of offers. New offers may be submitted at any time. This Federal Supply Schedule will no longer have a prescribed beginning and ending date. Schedule period will be continuous. There will be variable performance periods for individual contracts. Individual contract performance periods will commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire five years from that date, unless cancelled, terminated, or extended pursuant to any option provisions included in the contract. All contracts under this Multiple Award Schedule solicitation will include an option to extend the term of the contract. The option clause may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of the schedule period shall not exceed five years. The Government will award contracts for identical brand name items when offers are determined to be fair and reasonable to the Government. Economic price adjustments will be allowed in conjunction with the contractor's commercial practices. The Solicitation will contain a Special Item Number for the introduction of new products. All contracts will include the Industrial Funding Fee requirement. See Note 12. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-AUG-2001).
