- NA Notice of Intent to Issue a Sole Source Purchase Order: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announc ement constitutes the intentions of Headquarters, US Army Intelligence and Security Command to enter into an award with Norscan, Incorporated on a sole source basis and is the only notification issued as proposals are not being requested and a written soli citation will not be issued. Alternate items proposed for this requirement will not be considered. The Purchase Request Number W81GNX-3088-1004 is provided for identification purposes only. Interested parties may identify their interest with a response t o the requirement or submit quotations, but information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effec t through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code(s) are 3699/3825. The solicitation consists of the following: 4200 OAU DFM MM Alarm System CLIN 0001- 4200 OAU, Dark Multimode System with periphe ral: 4200 MS w/AUIC; 4200 Lic; 4200 PSU. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be included with the offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
