Description
NA This procurement is for the solicitation of a Two-Phase firm fixed price contract for the Maneuver and Training Equipment Site (MATES), Fort Pickett, Virginia. The project involves demolition of up to 6 World War II era structures including all utilities and surrounding improvements associated with these structures. Construction of two new additions to the existing (Maneuver and Training Equipment Site) MATES facility consisting of approximately 45,000 sf and 59,000sf respectively. Additions will provi de maintenance and repair areas for VaARNG units equipment and include hardstand parking areas, administrative support areas, vehicle painting and preparation areas, perimeter/security fencing, and associated site improvements. Construction of an unheat ed storage building of approximately 8,000sf. Project location is on the 41,000 acre, Federally owned, ARNG MTC Fort Pickett, VA. The technical Source Selection factors are as follows: PHASE ONE (1) Past Performance (2) Project Key Personnel, (3) Re levant Experience; (4) Technical Approach Narrative and (5) Small Business Subcontracting Effort. PHASE TWO CRITERIA is (1) Building Function; (2) Building Systems; (3) Site Design; (4) Site Engineering; and (5) Offferor Management Plans and Sched ules and the Price Proposals. Up to five proposers will be selected in PHASE ONE, only these successful proposers will take part in PHASE TWO of the evaluation process. Offerors will be evaluated on both technical and price. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposal prior to award; to negotiate with any or all proposers; to award the contract to other than the lowest total price and to award to the proposer submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantag eous to the Government. PROPOSERS ARE ADVISED ANY AWARD MAY BE MADE IN STEP TWO WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED. The receipt date for PHASE ONE is May 30, 2003. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be over $10 ,000,000.00. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. NAICS CODE 236210 applies to this procurement. PHASE ONE criteria and submission requirements will be available on/about April 30, 2003 via http://www.nao.usace.army.mil/Ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. No hard copies will be available. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
