- DESC: This is a sole source requirement for a three year firm fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract for the manufacture of (CLIN 0001) Ball Screw Assembly, NSN 1680-01-486-6655UC, P/N: 2039620-2, (CLIN 0002) Inboard Slat Island Drive Assembly, NSN 1680-01-180-0262UC, P/N: 2021088-2-2 and (CLIN 0003) Aft Center Cargo Door Actuation Mechanism, NSN 1680-00-024-6953UC, P/N: 544948-2-1. The BASIC period consists of a first article quantity of 1 ea for each CLIN. The initial BASIC period for CLIN 0001 also consists of a minimum buy of 5 ea and a maximum of 11 ea. The BASIC period for CLIN 0002 also consists of a minimum buy of 7 ea and a maximum of 14 ea. The BASIC period for CLIN 0003 also consists of a minimum buy of 10 ea and a maximum of 15 ea. The remaining option periods for CLIN 0001 consist of a minimum buy of 2 ea for each year and a maximum of 6 ea for each year. The remaining option periods for CLIN 0002 consist of a minimum buy of 3 ea for each year and a maximum of 7 ea for each year. The remaining option periods for CLIN 0003 consist of a minimum buy of 3 ea for each year and a maximum of 5 ea for each year. The total contract maximum quantity would be 76 ea. These items are applicable to the C-5 aircraft. MATL: (All CLINS) Steel and Aluminum DIMENSIONS: (0001) 3? D X 48? L, WT: 21 Lbs, (0002) 8? D X 36? L, WT: 20 Lbs., (0003) 12? H X 15?W X 36? D, WT: 9 Lbs. FUNCTION: (0001) Drives the outboard island drive assembly on the C-5 leading edge slat system. (0002) When actuated by a gearcase, this drive assembly operates to extend or retract slats of the leading edge slat actuation system of the C-5 aircraft and (0003) Provides the gear reduction required to actuate the C-5 aft center cargo door. DELIVERY: 180 Days ARO for the first articles and 90 Days after approval of first article for the production items. Delivery will be to Robins AFB GA 31098. DATA IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. The approximate RFP issue date will be 30 Apr 03 with the approximate response date of 30 May 03.
