- The Ceramics Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a contractor to provide preventative and emergency maintenance of various laboratory equipment. The specific equipment is listed on the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ is being issued utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance is a base year of May 1, 2003 to April 30, 2004, and four (4) one-year options. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed-price purchase order. The competitive solicitation, amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation, NA1341-03-Q-0364, is attached and will only be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
