Description

Solicitation number NA1341-03-Q-0337 dated April 10, 2003 is hereby amended to respond to technical questions submitted. Question: NIST's requirements states that "If, during the operation cycle, the pressure drop on the active filter vessel exceeds a preset differential between inlet and outlet of the filter, the system will automatically switch to the alternate filter." Later in the solicitation it reads "(18) Adjustable differential pressure changeover settings in the range of 1 to 7 psi." Also, it is assumed the system controls will be terminated by NIST since they will be 150 feet from the filtration system? Answer: NIST will mount the control box approximately 150 feet from the filter system, which includes running the cable and connecting it to the control box; thus, NIST requires the cable, assembly diagram/instructions and connectors (screw type, non soldered) to be included with the system. NIST wants an adjustable pressure switch with a range of 1 to 7 psi. The due date for quotes, April 21, 2003 @ 3pm EST remains unchanged.
