Description

[The contractor shall install one Romtec Single extended toilet unit at the Mt. Mcloughlin trailhead on the Fremont Winema National Forest. The work will include decommissioning, excavation, demolishing and disposal off site of two existing vault toilets. Installation of the new SST (Sweet Smelling Toilet) Romtec unit will include site prep, excavation, backfilling, concrete forming and finishing and some carpentry and masonry work. The toilet unit model is the Aspen SplitLok Concrete single with the extended floor plan. All work will be done as per manufacturer?s specifications and in accordance with contract terms and conditions. Government will furnish the Romtec Toilet Unit herein referred to as Government Furnished Property, see C.4. The unit will be stored at the Klamath Ranger District and will need to be picked up and transported by the contractor to the site for installation. The Project is located at the Mt. Mcloughlin trailhead. From Klamath Falls proceed west on Highway140 approximately 34 miles to USFS Road # 3661, thence north on Road # 3661 for approximately 3 miles to Road # 3650, turn west on 3650 for approximately ? mile to the site. Expected issue date is April 29, 2003. This is a small business set-aside.
