- Description
- The Colville National Forest requires presale services on the Three Rivers Ranger District. The services will be located in Ferry, Pend Oreille, and Stevens Counties, Washington State. The current units identified for this contract are Deadman, South Deep I, Quartzite and Bulldog Timber Presales. This requirement will be an indefinite quantity contract with a base year and two one-year option periods (for Fiscal Years 2004 and 2005). The task order contract is intended to provide the Government with flexibility to order timber sale preparation services for these areas as the need arises and funding is available. The minimum guaranteed amount for all three years combined is $30,000. There may be up to two awards from this solicitation. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. Services will include, but not limited to: GPS traversing, hand traversing, tree marking, painting proposed cutting unit boundaries, and performing cruises to determine tree volumes and tree quality. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. The project is 100 percent HubZone small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 115310 and size standard is $6 million. The solicitation is estimated to issue on May 2, 2003, with proposals estimated to be due June 2, 2003. The solicitation will be posted electronically at this (FedBizOpps) site when it issues.
