- Description
- The proposed contract action is for digital aerial image acquisition services and related supplies which is in response to an unsolicited proposal using a large format digital camera (Leica ADS40[trademark]). Requirements include but are not limited to natural color, one and two meter resolution orthorectified imagery with horizontal accuracy standards of 3 meters and 20 meters respectively, formatted to both quarter quadrangles and compressed county mosaics, compliant to FGDC metadata standards. Approximately 90,000 square miles located in the states of Nebraska and Iowa. Contract performance requires 45 day mid-summer acquisition period with large volume image processing and rapid 30 day delivery schedule. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
