- Description
- The Flathead National Forest will be advertising a Request for Quotations for the construction/reconstruction of the Graves Creek Trail No. 1 on the Hungry Horse Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. Project consists of 5.9 miles of trail construction and reconstruction including clearing and grubbing, tread construction/reconstruction, waterbars, drain dips, check dams, culvert, ditches, tread stabilization, turnpike repair, and switchbacks. Some rock blasting may be necessary. This project is located within the Jewel Basin Hiking Area; therefore, no livestock and pack animals are allowed on the trail and all access trails to the project. Issue date, approximately June 5, 2002. Completion date, August 1, 2004, with an estimated Notice to Proceed date of August 12, 2002. The Government price estimate range is between $25,000 and $100,000. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (31-MAY-2002).
