- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit proposals for providing command support services for Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, Naval Station Mayport, Florida and Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. Services include: reception and telephone assistance, office administration, mail services, reports management, directives management, substitute secretary services, and training and travel orders support. The proposal will be an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study. The purpose of this study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing administrative security support services for the three bases listed above. In accordance with OMB Circular A-76, the offer determined to represent the best value to the Government will be compared to the Government?s proposal to perform the above services. Commercial proposals will not result in a contract if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The projected date for issuance of the solicitation is early January 2003. Please note that this is the same requirement that was earlier published under N68836-02-R-0004. If you responded to one of the earlier synopsis? for this procurement you do not have to respond again. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561110. When submitting requests, please refer to solicitation number N68836-03-R-0007. The contract for these services will have a base year period of one year, which will include a 60 day transition period. There will also be four (4) one-year options. All contractors must be CCR registered in order to be eligible for award.
