- SYNOPSI FOR RFQ N00140-03-Q-1702 This is a synopsis for commercial items utilizing simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items and prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00140-03-Q-1702 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). RFQ N00140-03-Q-1702 will be available on the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia is soliciting on an unrestricted basis: all responsible sources may submit a proposal. The requirement is for a firm fixed price contract for the supply of 1,188 KT and 1,492 EA hollow core doors and louvered birch interior doors for building 4200, Navy Public Works Center Great Lakes, IL The doors are required by 19 December 2003. Site visits are to be scheduled as needed. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of RFQ N00140-03-Q-1702. Anticipated evaluation factors will include past performance and price with past performance being considered more important than price. Award will be made to the firm whose evaluated offer is determined to be most advantageous to the Government. The full solicitation and all amendments, if any, will be available at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. DFAR 252.204-7004 entitled ?Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies. Offerors must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. CCR registration is free ? see website www.ccr2000.com for information and instructions. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 321911. All offers shall be sent to FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, Attn: Bid Room, 02P42E, 700 Robbins Avenue, Bldg. 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083 and should reference RFQ N00140-03-Q-1702 .
