- Description
- The work to be performed consists of designing, furnishing and installing a new trash raking system for Olympus Dam. The system will include two trash conveyors to remove debris from the top of the trash rack structure and deposit it into a container on the crest of the dam. The raking system will be automated to operate continuously either on a timer or a water surface elevation differential sensor. The work is located at Olympus Dam, in Estes Park, Colorado, in Larimer County. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for June 17, 2003 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order in the amount of $9.00 per set. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 333298. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 Employees. After issuance, the Solicitation, Offer and Award Form may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov , however, the specifications and drawings will not be made available electronically.
